The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is an open-world action-adventure game set in the Kingdom of Hyrule—a region that, despite its breathtaking beauty, has been ravaged by destruction.
Players take on the role of Link, who awakens from a century-long slumber to uncover his forgotten past and embark on a journey to protect Hyrule.
Story:
Long ago, the kingdom of Hyrule was attacked by a terrifying evil force: Calamity Ganon. Gravely wounded while trying to protect the kingdom, Link was placed in a special chamber to recover.
One hundred years later, Link awakens with no memory of past events. He discovers that Princess Zelda has kept Calamity Ganon imprisoned for a century, but her power is waning.
Now, Link must explore Hyrule, regain his memory, grow stronger, and gather the knowledge and power needed to confront Calamity Ganon. Along his journey, he uncovers what happened to the kingdom and the heroes who fought alongside Zelda a century earlier.
