Super Mario Odyssey is a 3D platform-adventure game in which Mario travels across various kingdoms to stop Bowser and save Princess Peach. Thanks to his new companion, Cappy, Mario gains special abilities that transform exploration and gameplay.
This game takes Mario on a journey around the world filled with colorful settings, hidden areas, challenges, and collectibles. Players can explore each “Kingdom,” collect “Power Moons,” and—with the help of “Cappy”—interact with various objects, as well as take control of specific enemies and creatures.
Story:
Bowser has kidnapped Princess Peach and intends to marry her, prompting Mario to set out on a journey to stop the wedding and rescue her. Along the way, he meets ‘Cappy’—a unique, hat-shaped companion—who helps him utilize new abilities.
Mario travels across various kingdoms in a ship named the ‘Odyssey’ and collects “Power Moons” to fuel the airship. He must defeat Bowser’s minions and explore uncharted lands to ultimately confront Bowser himself and thwart his wedding plans.
